Tales in Motion dance company creates innovative narrative dance productions for early years audiences. Our goal is to bring the joy of music and dance to as many young audience members as possible.
Our Story:
Clea and Lizzie met performing in a dance production of Tom’s Midnight Garden in 2021. They bonded over a love of creating magical performance experiences for family audiences. Tales in Motion was born out of a shared goal to make dance for early years audiences, instilling a life-long appreciation of the arts.

Peter And The Wolf
Peter & the Wolf is a dance theatre production of Prokofiev's musical masterpiece, performed by a dynamic cast of professional dancers. The show is for an audience of under 5s and their grown ups.
The iconic score of Peter & the Wolf has long enchanted young audiences through its introduction to the orchestra, where each instrument represents a character in the story. Now, we are bringing this timeless tale of friendship to life through a theatrical, playful and sensory dance performance. Providing a participatory experience for little ones, the show will be a highly imaginative adventure through dance, classical music, and storytelling.
